Rock Garden: It is an enormously gripping attraction of Chandigarh, and has a glorious artistic gallery created from urban and industrial wastes. The man behind its formation is Nek Chand who was the then government official and formed it in 1957. Sukhna Lake: It is a very popular manmade lake, placed at the buttes of the great Shivalik. The striking idea of its establishment in year 158 came into the minds of Le Corbusier. Capitol Complex:The building of Capitol Complex is a superlative work of Le Corbusier and resplendently homes three spectacular government buildings in its heart which are High Court, Secretariat, and Legislative Assembly.
International Doll Museum: This international storehouse of wide-ranging dolls is located in Bal Bhawan of Sector 23 and consists of over 300 charismatic dolls from various countries, It inaugural ceremony took place on 24 December, 1985 and is truly a paradise for small children and other adventurous sightseers.
Leisure Valley: Again the thanks should be given to Le Corbusier for coming up with the appealing notion of making this refreshing Leisure Valley which contains aromatic gardens stretching from Sector 53 towards the border of the south of the Sector 1 in the North. You will encounter innumerable gardens here whose comeliness is loved by everyone far or near for instance Bougainvillea Garden, Fitness Trails, Rajendra Park, Rose Garden, Children Traffic Park, Botanical Garden and Smriti Upavan & Topiary Park.
Government Museum and Art Gallery: It is placed in Sector 10 and exhibits its elite collection of figurines made of stone belonging to the Gandhara School of Art.
Religious Places in Chandigarh: People in Chnadigarh are very religious which is why you will bump into scores of Temples for example Chandi Mandir, Gurudwara and Churches where the pilgrims go and pay their holy prayers.
