Day 01:- New Delhi -Cochin
Kerala Spice and Plantation Tour begins with arrival at New Delhi, where Indian Horizons representative will receive you and help you plan the further journey towards Cochin.
Upon arrival in Cochin, You will be received from Cochin Airport by one of our representatives and transferred to a drive towards Cochin. On arrival, check into the pre-booked hotel and take some rest. Later on, visit the major attractions of Cochin which include Marine Drive, Mattancherry Palace, Santa Cruz Basilica, Ernakulam Shiva Temple, St. Francis Church etc. After enjoying the whole day return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 02:- Cochin- Arthirampilly- Munnar
After enjoying delicious breakfast proceed towards Arthirampilly which is about 63 Km from Cochin. Visit the Athirampilly Waterfalls, one of the most popular picnic spots where water falls from the height of nearly 80 ft. before merging with the Chalakudi River. After enjoying the day in beautiful surroundings, proceed towards Munnar which is 140 Km. Upon arrival at Munnar, check into the pre-booked hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03:- Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed towards the sightseeing tour of Munnar which is a lovely hill station of Kerala with vast tea plantations, misty mountains, winding roads and pleasant climate. It is often referred as the Darjeeling of South. Visit the India’s first Tea Museum at Nallathanni Estate to take a fascinating look at the history of tea production in Munnar, the Kundale Tea Plantation surrounded by a lake to witness the entire tea making process. You may also take the tea estate tour offered by Briar Tea Bungalows. After enjoying all these activities, dinner and overnight stay at the pre-booked hotel.
Day 04:- :- Munnar Sightseeing
Next day after breakfast proceed for the sightseeing tour of Munnar. Visit the Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake and Echo point. Afternoon proceed to Rajamalai which is famous for the rarest species of mountain goat, Nilgiri Thars. If you love adventure then enjoy trekking on Anamudi, which towers over 2,695 meters is the highest peak in South India. Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05:- Munnar - Thekkady
After morning breakfast proceed towards Thekkady. Upon arrival, check into the pre-booked hotel and take some rest. Later on, proceed for the sightseeing tour of Thekkady renowned for world’s most fascinating wildlife reserves. Visit the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary to explore the scenic beauty and wildlife of the sanctuary. Enjoy the boat rides at Periyar Lake. Visit the spice plantations like cardamom, cinnamon, pepper, coffee and tea estates. You can shop for these spices and tea at local markets. Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 06:- Thekkady - Alleppey
After breakfast transfer to the Alleppey, the Venice of the East. It is located at a distance of 152 Km from Thekkady. Upon arrival, check into the pre-booked houseboat and take some rest. Later on, explore the natural beauty of backwaters in Kerala on the houseboat that takes you to the virgin villages of Kerala and explore the real life of local people over here. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the Houseboat.
Day 07:- Alleppey- Cochin- New Delhi
After breakfast check out from the Hotel and proceed towards Cochin Airport for the return journey to New Delhi.
